Caged but Happy

Yesterday one of my very good friend entered in her new phase of life. I was  recalling the time spent with her in hostel in one room and suddenly a thought splash into my mind “If there are facilities freedom  we enjoy more, or when we have rules, restriction we enjoy more”

Many of us say what question is this  definitely with freedom, facilities we enjoy more, but think again once.. Do not we enjoy more when we have few facilities.. when we break the rules.

The memories I recalled when  we had to mark our attendance  in late entry register  n some time we jumped from the wall to make entry into hostel, scolding of warden for breaking the hostel rules but again repeating  the same things, waiting for parents call @ hostel phone,  standing in STD queue, complaining to warden to improve the facility,  Fighting with your roommate for computer, for  switching off the lights, trying to listen the talk of ur friend to her bf @ midnight ( how can anyone talk at so low volume.. J), taking ur friend to hospital, advising your friend  before exam “ Ho jata h  yaar abhi don’t think na” why  because she had big fight with her boy friend.. I wonder why they fight only one day before exam J these small things make the life beautiful, make the special bond between friends.

Now there is no attendance register, whenever u want u can come , no one come and say “ abbey kitna jagna h switch off d lights” no scolding of warden, because there is no rule so what to break, 24 hr internet facility, 24 hr mobile facility.. all the facility  freedom we have but there is less enjoyment. Why?  because no one is there for small stupid fights. Everybody is running how he/she can get the best facility.

Don’t run behind the money, technology, these can make us Rich but not Happy!
