Kavya & Mantra

Two girls Kavya and Mantra (anonymous names) of the same age, study in same standard i.e. V class. Kavya is intelligent girl, whatever she learns in class, she remembers or most of the things she remembers and Mantra is below the average, whatever she learns, she just forgets in one day or so. However Mantra is much better in social behavior, social things than Kavya but why she is not good in learning the things what she has been taught in school.

One reason I agree everyone has different learning ability, different grasping power, has particular choice of favourite subject but for me that is a minor reason only. According to my observation, Mantra takes the study as a burden, she just mugs the things and becoz her mind is not as sharp, she is not able to memorize the things and so she does not enjoy much study.  Todays students don’t give a thought what they are studying , learning they study n memorize the things becoz that is directly going to come in their exams and they have to score well in their exams to fulfill their parents expectations. Its not at all the fault of kids, its fault of education system, education style.

We should make education more interesting particularly for kids. Big schools are doing it now a days but what about the small private schools, govt schools. Their education pattern is -Teacher comes to class, teaches for 30 min in a same way he/she is teaching for last 20 yrs and they just consider 3-4 bright students in class. Who will think about below the average students? Teachers should try atleast 80% students of the class are getting the things or not.  Our education policy should be like that which increases the student thinking ability, their observation power.

 If education pattern will be interesting (as it will be done by Govt. Education Dept so it will take longer time J) , better if  teachers and parents take a step ahead and make it interesting, kids will definitely enjoy the study, they  will not take study as burden. Then I hope Mantra will also do good in her study may be not as good as Kavya but I am sure she will be counted in above the average students.
