Shining India

                                                             Shining India

Few days back, I met with a girl around 14 yr. At that day when I went to sleep, was thinking how lucky I am!  I literally thanked to God for giving me such nice parents, supporting family.  Many times we fight, argue with them; but really where I am today, its only n only because of them.
What would be my life, if I had to be at that girl’s place; Should I would be able to live this life.. No chance!

To be a daughter of alcoholic father is her mistake… To be a daughter of parents who want boy is her mistake… To be a daughter of poor parents is her mistake... No its not her mistake, then why she is getting punishment?

She is intelligent, smart, bold girl… She just wants to study and do something; Even she does not have big dreams of being doctor or engineer. But what she does.. 5 hr work to earn money for family, take care of younger brother n sisters… n ends up her day get abused by drunken father. Why,  because  she does not want to marry at this stage and wants to study.

This is just a single story, am sure there are countless similar stories. After interacting with these people, we come to know reality that How far still we are from “Shining India”!

Can Beating be the Solution of Problem?

Another article… I started to write this around 2 week back but due to laziness could not complete.J
Few days back there was UNICEF’s report in Times of India & after reading article the first expression was What!!! Literally for a day, it was just hammering my mind and thinking really we are getting educated or it’s just an illusion of education. In this century, where we proudly talk about equality, More than 50% people think Wife Beating is Acceptable to them. The more shocking is even female themselves justify this domestic violence. (http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/57-of-boys-53-of-girls-think-wife-beating-is-justified/articleshow/12862006.cms)
I agree how much we talk about equality, it is n will be Male dominating society; it will take years n years to have gender equality; but it does not mean that females are meant to be dominated or they should be beaten. Wife beating cannot be acceptable, whatever situation or problem arises. What people think does it solve the problem; No rather it makes the problem wider, shatters the woman self respect; It just n just satisfy the Male Ego. God has created man & woman; Man – strong Woman-soft tender and by beating a weaker person what they want to prove their manship. Though females are physically weak but I would say they are much mentally stronger than Man. Ever person has thought the way he beats his wife; her daughter can be beaten by her husband.
Somebody can’t see the lady who is being continuously beaten, what mental trauma she must be facing... what about herself respect, confidence level, how she will nurture her family, what moral values she will give to her children. She is not object or your servant; she is your companion for lifetime. In this survey 15-19 age group people are also included and they also agree with this; children brought up in such atmosphere become adapted to this and do the same in future. Kudos to our education which make us literate only; not how to be good human, citizen. This thought came into my mind also when I watched Satyamev Jayte’s cover story on female feticide; where highly educated people are involved in this; but I ll not touch that topic here.
Two lines ahead I just cursed our education, but educating the women only can reduce this domestic violence rate. Women does not raise their voice against violence; they think how will they survive in this world, how will they up bring their children. Thanks to Education only; who make women self independent, make women confident to raise their voice.
This I am sharing with you my friends, not for any social site J To have Happy life, respect each other; there are various ways to solve any problem not beating. In future if u come across to this situation; give a thought
“Will beating solve your problem or it just satisfying the Ego?”

Expression has no words!

Expression has no words!
City change, State change or Country change… there is difference in culture, spirituality, difference in architecture, atmosphere, disparity in lifestyle, language, food… But the thing which does not differ is Expression… Expression of Feeling!
All around there is love, affection, hatred, care, ego, gratitude, victory, defeat, happiness, smile, cry… There is no difference in affection of parents towards their children, no difference in “no reason sweet fighting in between siblings… everywhere girls in group active in gossiping, boys in group either busy in watching girls or busy in leg pulling, students busy in mimicry of their professors, lovers engaged with each other only J  There is same happiness in person’s eye in their joyous moment, same pain in their failure moment… and in their few best moments of life, what a great similar expression they have “Smile with tears” no need of any word , even no word can express this… Expression does not have any language or can cross any language barrier.
This small thought came into my mind while attending one scientific lecture; see what the students do in seminar J. The great coincidence was similar day in evening during a cultural programme, Kathakali artist express 9 different feelings with his face only  without saying a word - Love, Mirthful (comic), Pathetic (sadness), Furious, Heroic, Terrible, Disgust, Marvelous and Peace.
I have read this also, sometimes expressions can be deceptive; but what your True expression can convince Words can not.
